It's a grey, dull day and I'm trying to resist typing another "God I hate the weekend" rant. Went to
the Lowry museum with college yesterday, which was pretty boring, despite having an exhibition of
Margaret Bourke White's work. The museum is just across from the
Imperial War Museum so we went there too. Slightly more interesting, if only for the fact they had a tank, but there's still better ways I could think of spending my day. What didn't help was the two prettiest people in my class started walking around holding hands, and the stall selling sorbet said the fridge wasn't working properly and they couldn't sell me any.
I got home to find my dad had left me the
Holga camera that I had delivered to his house. Opening it I found out why they were so cheap. They really are made of plastic. And about 10 times lighter than a standard camera. Now I just need to get the film from the postal depot, who seem to be refusing to send it to the post office as I asked them, and I get shooting!
